Alexandra Del Carpio Landry

Alexandra graduated with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a writer and editor at The Berkeley Science Review. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University where she was a staff writer at the student newspaper, The Technician. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Clyde Williams, who is running in the election for New York’s 13th Congressional District, has had public service experience in Washington D.C. and has sat on the boards of private business ventures. But being a newcomer in New York politics can be both an advantage and a hindrance.
