Shari is a recent graduate of Arizona State University. She has held three internships with The Arizona Republic, where she was a Pulliam Fellow in copy editing. She has also interned as a wire editor with the Gannett News Service in Phoenix and will be an intern at The Seattle Times this summer. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
