Brittany graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked as a web designer at Swarm Interactive, a company based in Chapel Hill that specializes in medical graphics and website development. She was the project manager and lead developer for Undercurrent, an interactive website that explored the coral reef and the lives of the residents of Bocas del Toro, Panama. She will be interning with NPR’s visual team this month. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
